It's Tesla's 164th Birthday: Celebrate Via Virtual Walking Tour

Friday, Jul 10, 2020

Nikola Tesla took on Thomas Edison and the House of Morgan, established the electrical grid, predicted + ushered in the modern wireless technological era in the late 1800s. Then he was all but forgotten. Take this virtual walking tour to learn about this eccentric genius, his ongoing impact on the technologies of today +how his life played out in the city of New York.

Hoping you and your loved ones and communities are staying well in this most unusual time. In fact, Tesla always kept a social distance. He often refused to shake hands when he met someone + usually wore gloves to avoid any physical contact with people he met. He obsessively washed his hands. In his later life he ensured that all his food was boiled before he would touch it. Talk about successfully predicting the modern era..!!
