Up On The RoofPod

Saturday, Apr 28, 2018

With the expanding global awareness of what it means to be energy efficient + the perks of a "greener" built environment, comes opportunities to research the quantitative results of sustainability. Now, visit the rooftop micro-dwelling designed + built by City College's Spitzer School of Architecture students during the Department of Energy's 2011 Solar Decathlon.

The urban farm that now compliments the energetic Pod was realized through the collaboration of Spitzer students + the on-campus High School for Math, Science and Engineering. Join Professor Christian Volkman as he helps New Yorkers understand another prism of an integrated system of urban infrastructure.

Date, Saturday, April 28, Noon–1:30 pm
