NYC buildings are responsible for 71% of the city’s carbon footprint. Most of the work to reduce building energy use must focus on existing buildings. The 2030 Districts Network is an initiative to address all the ways urban governments, businesses + residents can model climate mitigation + resilience + the first 2030 District in NYC will start in Brooklyn’s own Community Board 2.
