Building Science 101

Wednesday, Aug 16, 2017

Building Science is the study of how a building reacts to the physical phenomena surrounding. It studies how a building responds to temperature + moisture, building envelope + leakage, heating + ventilation +v building materials. Building science shows they must function together to create a well-oiled machine

In the August forum, Foster Lyons will speak on his experiences in building science, how he uses this information to optimize a building's performance, minimize its environmental impact + how he has learned from past mistakes.
