Around Town

Tuesday, Feb 9, 2016

Join Building Energy Exchange and Passive House Academy for a half-day workshop that will go beyond the “House” in Passive House and explore how the innovative standard applies to large buildings.

The workshop will provide an overview of the full palette of building types which meet the exacting passive house standards. From multi-family apartment buildings to offices, schools, archives buildings, and much, much more.

Challenges particular to different building types will be highlighted. New buildings and retrofit case studies will be explored and the potential for application to New York demonstrated.
