Our Earth's Future

This one-day offering provides an in-depth study of the forces that determine sea level. Compare human-induced sea level rise, a consequence of global warming, with the natural variability in sea level height caused by El Niño and other ocean atmosphere phenomena. Participants will come away with new fluency in and understanding of the science of climate change.

The course is led by Debra Tillinger, Professor of Physics,Marymount Manhattan College

Location: American Museum of Natural History, Central Park West@West 77 Street
