Raising the Bar is a global educational initiative aimed at making education part of a city’s popular culture. The goal is to “raise the bar” on the content people consume in their everyday lives. This year, the focus turns New York City’s landscape into a campus for one night, where professors and scientists from Columbia University and New York University will give talks in 50 of the city’s top bars
