Central Park Tour: West Side Stories

Saturday, Feb 7, 2015

Discover some of the secret spots that West Siders know all-too-well: a lost village, a poetic garden, the Oak Bridge, and a tear drop-shaped landscape that memorializes a fallen musical icon. The route involves moderate inclines and a few stairs.

Sponsors: NYC Parks Department & The Central Park Conservancy

Date: Saturday, February 7, noon–1:30 PM

Location: 81st Street and Central Park West in Central Park

RSVP: Space is limited; advance ticket purchase is recommended. Tickets are available onsite for purchase by credit card only. Please arrive at the meeting location 15 minutes before the start of the tour to allow time for check in. For the courtesy of other guests, those arriving after the start time cannot be accommodated. Tickets: $15 per person. Central Park Conservancy members: $10 per person.

Ticket sales are final. Tours take place rain or shine, except in extreme weather conditions (heavy rain, sustained winds of 30 m.p.h. or more, snowstorms, and a wind chill below 25 degrees or heat index above 95 degrees).
