Calling All Volunteers

Saturday, Oct 25, 2014

Rebuilding Together NYC will be providing extensive repairs for homeowners STILL recovering from Hurricane Sandy in Rockaway, Queens. At this large-scale neighborhood revitalization event, we will be repairing 9 homes, 1 community center, and installing 50 solar-powered, exterior security lights.

We need volunteers like YOU! With your help, we can bring homeowners that have been waiting for 2 years back to a safe and healthy home. Together we can provide much needed repair assistance and resiliency upgrades to the Rockaway community.

Sponsor: Rebuilding Together NYC

Date: Saturday, October 25

RSVP: To volunteer for this event, please register here. Once registered, you will receive an email with all the details like the address, what to wear, and what to expect. The day will go from 8am-4pm with breakfast and lunch provided. There will be an after party at the Bungalow Bar in Rockaway.

Can't make it, but want to learn more about volunteering with Rebuilding Together NYC? Please contact Caitlin Yumori at caitlin.yumori@rebuildingtogethernyc.org.
