Local Law 87 building audit and retro-commissioning implementation entails significant new regulations. Learn about implementation and enforcement of Local Law 87 including the processing and reviewing of submissions of Energy Efficiency Reports, Extension and Deferral requests, fees and failure to comply fines.

In November 2012 the NYS Public Service Commission instituted a proceeding to evaluate contingency plans for the potential closure of the Indian Point Energy Center later this decade. It evaluated transmission, generation, and demand reduction strategies to deal with the loss of nearly 1,500 MW of power generation in the downstate power supply market.
