Auxiliary Power: Backup Strategies That Work

Friday, Jul 26, 2013

Hurricane Sandy knocked out electrical and gas power to hundreds of thousands of affordable multifamily buildings, leaving residents and building operators without pumps, hot water, refrigeration, lights and ability to charge critical equipment and exposed the real need for back-up power in emergency situations. Backup power affords building operators the ability to power core equipment during power outages. Join us for a review of backup power equipment design including placement of system and critical building equipment load analysis; operations and maintenance; code and regulatory compliance; as well as best practices for temporary and permanent generator installation.
