Financing Efficiency And Connecting Building Professionals Half-Day Conference

A. Energy efficiency remains a focal point for building stakeholders who want to optimize performance and reach maximum cost savings. This session will explore the current financing market for increased energy efficiency in New York building stock. The discussion will include the dialogue that is needed between the different players involved in retrofitting projects, the current policies enacted by the Mayor's office to increase energy savings in buildings, and understanding projected savings versus actual savings for retrofit projects.

B. Connecting the NY Ecosystem of Building Efficiency Professionals Presentation

Board members from Energy Infotech NYC will explore how professionals in the New York building space - architects, engineers, lenders, building owners and managers, policymakers, technology providers and more - can increase engagement with one another in order to position the city as a central hub of the Intelligent Building world. This interactive presentation will explore how the roles of the attendees in the room currently contribute to developments in the building efficiency space, where there are opportunities for increased engagement in the community, and the results that can be achieved through valuable stakeholder connections.
