Holiday Cheer For The Plastiki

Come enjoy the Green Drinks NYC 2010 holiday party and silent auction with special guest David de Rothschild of the Plastiki Expedition. The Plastiki is a 60 foot long catamaran made from 12,500 plastic bottles. It sailed 8,000 miles from San Francisco to Sydney, Australia, to raise awareness about the Great Pacific Garbage Patches. Silent auction to benefit: Sculpt the Future Foundation and Algalita Marine Research Foundation.
