Congresmember Weiner Talk

Monday, Aug 13, 2007

Join a public conversation with Brooklyn/Queens Congressmember Anthony Weiner about energy, traffic, and other local and national environmental issues.

Since 1998, Mr. Weiner has represented New York's 9th District (Brooklyn and Queens) in the U.S. House of Representatives where he's been a proponent of progressive energy and environmental legislation. This year, the Congressman broke with many prominent local transportation and environmental activists by opposing the Mayor's controversial congestion pricing plan and favoring alternative approaches.

Moderated by Solar One Outreach Coordinator Chris Neidl.

Date: Monday, August 13, 2007, 7 pm

Location: Solar 1 (Stuveysant Cove, FDR Drive@23 Street)
