Greening PlaNYC 2030

Friday, Jul 20, 2007

Explore the implementation of PlanNYC 2030's green issues. The Plan's goals and strategies are at a critical juncture and need our help to broaden their base of understanding among the public and the design community. In June, we discussed ways to implement the goals of the 2030 report in terms of new development and began to identify questions that need to be answered regarding where, when and how. Growth Issues centered on housing, transit-oriented development, parks and community amenities. We concluded a critical need to put flesh on the bones and to push outreach efforts in order to gain community support.
